MEET OUR FOUNDER, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
At Evergreen Oasis, care is more than a service—it’s a calling shaped by my Gambian roots and a lifelong commitment to honoring our elders.
Raised in a culture where aging relatives are cared for with love and respect, I’ve carried that spirit through my global work in public health and social services, including my role as a DSHS case manager.
With degrees from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and the University of Washington, my mission has always been to uplift vulnerable populations with dignity.
Evergreen Oasis was born from this passion—to offer seniors a place where they are truly seen, valued, and cared for like family.

What is an Adult Family Home (AFH)?
An Adult Family Home is a residential care facility that provides 24-hour personalized care for up to six residents. It offers a warm, home-like setting with assistance in daily living, meals, medication management, and more.
How is Evergreen Oasis different from a nursing home or assisted living facility?
Unlike large facilities, we offer a smaller, more personal environment with a high caregiver-to-resident ratio. This allows us to provide truly individualized care while maintaining a peaceful, homelike atmosphere.
Do you accept Medicaid or private pay?
We accept private pay and Medicaid, and are happy to discuss other Medicaid waivers and long-term care funding options.
What are the room options and amenities?
We offer cozy private and shared rooms, each thoughtfully furnished for comfort. Amenities include nutritious meals, Wi-Fi, laundry service, housekeeping, and access to outdoor spaces.
